Poverty is not a created way of life but a socially instituted condition than can be alleviated if the correct social equity structure and system are put in place. The Aboulay project in collaboration with the ScanAfrik Forbundet of the kingdom of Norway has a vision of poverty impact by sustainable growth and development system using the Cooperative Societies and Trust Fund approach. Since Independence, most African nations have offered little but lip service to Rural and Agro-industrial development.
For most, this results from a mental condition instituted by some wrong conceptualization of what being educated and status means. For most African Elite status is being educated not to do physical of jobs using hand and mind. Status is about affluence above industry and technical trade skills.

Wealth is a condition most times confused with affluence. This misconception is part of the sustenance of corruption in Africa and especially in Sierra Leone fueled by the oversized egos of the elite class who haplessly go about missing funds that would otherwise have been put into sustainable use to build the wealth of the Nation.
